Kon-Tiki House

Elands is a world famous surfing destination, where our fully equipped home is designed for families to embrace West Coast lifestyle. Hot tub, pizzas, surfing, beaches, fynbos, bird life, hiking, outdoor hot showers, fires under stars, sunsets, yoga, hammocks, views of the mountain and the ocean. We are one hour drive from the famous Cederberg rock climbing spots. As a family we try to support local where possible, please speak to our manager Audrey if you need anything during your stay.

SNOEKSTRAAT - Strandfontein Beach House

This beautiful house is situated in a cul-de-sac in the small westcoast town of Strandfontein in the Matzikama Region of Namakwaland, South Africa. It has a direct view and access to the beach and is approximately 50 metres from the town's only shop and restaurant. Three rooms sleep 6 - 7 adults and can easily accomodate 3 couples or two couples with children. Parking is at the back. A large "Stoep" (patio) with barbeque area allows guests to enjoy the outdoors right through the day.

This quiet small beach town on the West Coast with its beautiful white sandy beaches takes you back in time and makes you feel like a kid again, where time stands still, while you play on the beach or just relax and read a book by the crackling fire at night. Thornbay Accommodation is the prime accommodation in Doringbaai, a small town in Southern Namaqualand, West Coast of South Africa. All our apartments are individual and are fully equipped for self catering. (Just bring your beach towel, your food and toiletries). Each apartment has its own entrance, ablutions and its own patio and braai area with panoramic sea views accompanied with breath- taking sunsets of the Atlantic Ocean.

Full time staff live in the downstairs unit of the premises and will be available 24/7 to ensure you are well looked after. Elands bay on the beach is the ultimate stay for surfers, kite boarders and SUP lovers.

Highline boasts uninterrupted ocean views & magical West coast sunsets. Big glass doors open onto a deck, with a private gate leading to a quiet beach. It is designed for indoor-outdoor living and is perfect for family stays or romantic getaways. The house can accommodate 6 adults (3 bedrooms) and 6 kids (3 bunk-beds). Strictly no additional adults in bunk beds!
