Dating from 1895, it was designed by renowned architect Sir Edwin Lutyens for Princess Louise, daughter of Queen Victoria. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is just 20 miles away, Luss is 19 miles and Glasgow is a 39 mile drive. Nearest rail stations are Garelochead - 6 miles - and Helensburgh - 13 miles from where trains run to Oban and beyond, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Loch Lomond Chalet

You’ll love my place because of the quiet peaceful surroundings beside a small stream and looking out over Loch Lomond. Situated in a private holiday lodge estate at the foot of Ben Lomond looking over Loch Lomond to the mountains beyond. There is a sandy beach just in front of the lodge. My place is good for couples, families and pets. Rowardennan is on the quieter eastern shores of Loch Lomond at the foot of Ben Lomond. There are NO shops in Rowardennan but online groceries can be delivered.

Historic Lochside Woodside Tower

Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and fridge/microwave/coffee machine in the hallway. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is a kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.

Waterfront Boathouse

The Boathouse Cottage is situated on the Eastern shore of Loch Lomond on The West Highland Way. Set within one acre of secluded garden, with over 100 meters of loch foreshore, a boat slipway, and a jetty. It is an original 18 th Century croft building uniquely converted into an open plan layout to sleep 3 persons. It retains many traditional features including a roll-top bath (no shower) and wood-burning stove, as well as modern conveniences such as underfloor heating.

Also there are many places of natural beauty and interest to visit by car or public transport including Loch Lomond, Glencoe and Inveraray castle.

'The hoot' lodge 29, is a spacious log cabin on the rugged eastern banks of Loch Lomond. Well positioned in the Rowardennan private lodge estate, there are beautiful views from the lodge across Loch Lomond and of the surrounding mountains. Rowardennan is at the mid point of Loch Lomond and is nestled at the foot of Ben Lomond. Twenty four miles long, Loch Lomond and it's islands are one of Scotland's must see attractions; stunningly beautiful all year round.

My place is close to the waters edge.Stunning unique tranquil loch front setting in the Arrochar Alps located only 45 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, or 55 minutes from the Ski Centre in Glencoe. A spacious chalet consisting of three 3 bedrooms, all beds are full size with luxury sprung matress, large lounge with walk out decking with panoramic views only 10 ft from the waters edge at high tide. You simply will not find a better waterside location.
