If your agenda is to rest, read, work from home, take walks along a road lined with Pine trees and detox while avoiding the nasty traffic and tourist overload in cramped Darjeeling, this is the place for you. ‘Panorama’ where the last King of Burma’s second daughter spent an idyllic life in exile from 1947 onwards. She lived here with her husband till April 4, 1956. It is a beautiful property with a 180 degree view of the Himalayan range during the months when there is no haze. One can also see the western part of Kalimpong town. It's an almost 100 years old bungalow built during the British Raj. It is well maintained with polished floorboards and red oxide floors and fire places.
