Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

Many guests return year after year and dogs are welcome too. Stonecrop is within easy reach of Hadrian’s Wall, the Yorkshire Dales, the Borders and Lakes.

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.

WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

The Rookery

After much research, I think this cottage was likely built somewhere in the 1500's. It has quirky uneven walls, VERY LOW BEAMS (TAKE CARE) upstairs made from sailing ships that travelled the world. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with small fridge, microwave, air fryer, sink, kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture as the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.
