We designed & created this relaxing space for ourselves so it isn’t a typical airbnb. :) Feel like you're a million miles a way in this secluded retreat while still having quick access to everything in the area: Just 10 minutes to the dining and shopping in Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree. Come get grounded in Joshua Tree. Relax and take in the view. Watch the resident quail from your window first thing in the morning, a half hour before sunrise. View the sunrise as the sun pops up from the park mountains to the east. Have breakfast cooked on your retro all-in-one sink/refrigerator/stove. Head to the park for some hiking. Catch the sunset in the park or from your front window if you've had a long day and just need to relax. then enjoy the stars from the back yard.

Josh Cottage at 29P

The year was 1946 and somebody in Twentynine Palms had the right idea--to build an adorable Spanish bungalow that simply oozed "romantic getaway to the desert," a place to take in the fresh air, the stillness at night and the stars. "Josh" as he is affectionately known, along with his partner "Tam" [an almost identical twin] is an updated version of that bungalow built so long ago. Modern in amenities, but pioneer in spirit, Josh is awaiting some special guests.
