Our 17th Century, characterful Yorkshire longhouse provides a spacious, retreat, and a fantastic base for family and friends to meet up with plenty of opportunities for days out in the surrounding North York Moors. The house is in the vibrant market town of Pickering with it's famous heritage railway. Many amazing walks can be enjoyed from right outside the door and the wonderful village pub and restaurant is only a few minutes walk away.

Set within a hillside in Ryedale sits Pheasant's Roost. This unique underground home offers comfort and scenery all in one. The private hot tub and patio over look the Howardian Hills. It also the perfect place to watch the sunset and later on the gaze at the beautiful clear night skies. If wildlife is your thing, there is plenty to see from our resident barn owl to the deer grazing in the early morning. This spacious pod has a fully equipped kitchen and underfloor heating.
