We are a Latvian-French couple who like meeting new people from diverse horizon and culture. We have decided to open our house for guests. It s located in the centrum of Sigulda. Easy to get to our place with public transport bus or train. We are located less than 10 minutes from the local amenities, information office and the train station. Many of the local activities can be started from the house. Also a mini van service can be arrange if needed. We speak English, Latvian, French, Russian

Cottage Avene

Cottage Avene is nice and cozy cabin located in country side approximately 10 min from Sigulda city center and 1 hour from Riga. Located right next to the Gauja National Park with lots of forests and activities for you to try and enjoy, like for example - boat trip in the river Gauja with canoe boat. Avene is offering a perfect place for you to stay with family or small group of people and rest after long day or relax in our sauna for an extra cost of 50€ or hot tub for an extra cost of 60€.

My place is close to Gaujas National Park, family-friendly activities, Sigulda, Turaida, Riga 65 km. The house is good for couples and families (with kids).I live myself in Cyprus but this is my home that I built with love for myself and my son. For those who love nature and appreciate quiet neighborhood it will become a perfect place and home trough out the stay. You rent a car and travel around or just stay at home by fire place ,with a book or glass of wine.

Designed as a holiday home, the house is free of excesses and encourages the guests’ connection to themselves, each other and the natural surroundings. It sits within a sparsely populated area of Gauja National Park where passing wildlife is more common than humans. Nature takes care of entertainment, inspires and provokes. Life doesn’t just take place indoors, it flows betweeen the exterior and interior with the terrace and windows facilitating.
