Good Life Cottage

Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. A place to enjoy the Good Life.

Cozy FarmHouse w Goats & GlassBlowing 5min to town

Located on Thomley’s Christmas Tree Farm, home to the only Glassblowing Hot Shop in Mississippi. Featured on HGTV’s “Hometown”, we welcome fans of the show. The house is 2,600sqft. New granite countertops and Wifi. We have 28 goats & 19 baby goats. Kidding season is Feb-Mar. Tree Farm is busy from Nov 15- Dec 15. The GlassBlowing studio is seasonal and stays busy Feb-April & Oct-Dec. We also have a nice Gallery. Thomley Farmers Market is the Last Saturday of the month 10am-2pm from April-August

You can get away from everything while experiencing all that Laurel has to offer. FUN FACT: The main bedroom features 2 bathrooms, a 'his' and 'hers'. If you ever wondered if separate bathrooms were worth it, they are! You will just love visiting Laurel.

Meridian Regional Airport is only 12 minutes away and Meridian Jaycee Soccer Complex is only 7 minutes away. Deer Run has many amenities for your convenience. If you are looking for the perfect escape, look no further than “The Leaf River Yacht Club”. This beautiful cabin will make you feel right at home as if you are in The Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Built in 2014, this home offers breathtaking views of the long & winding Leaf River, a 1-mile sandbar, unlimited sounds of nature & birds singing, as well as peace & quiet. Located 1.8 miles off the blacktop, this getaway allows you to reconnect with nature & re-energize for the daily grind.

Tiny House at Fulmer's Farmstead & General Store

Break away from it all and enjoy spending a little time at a slower pace on our 40 acre horse-powered produce farm. You will fall in love with our 240 square foot tiny house with its wrap around porch. Amish rockers complete the space making it an ideal place for that morning or evening cup of coffee. Enjoy touring the farm and watching our Percheron draft horses at work or young colts playing. Chickens, cows, and sheep round out the animals to check out here on the farm.

Sweet Olive Cabin Morton, MS

The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack n play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There is a flat screen tv in both the den and the master bedroom with Directv. We have WIFI available.
