Relax & enjoy wildlife from the serenity of the suite, on deck chairs or in the brand new private hot tub! In summer, your private deck is perfect for watching eagles, loons, ducks, swans and fish while enjoying cocktails or BBQ. For the lake, use a stand up paddle board or canoe from our stash. Winter? bring your own skiis for the groomed trail on the lake. A neatly appointed kitchenette gets you through the basics. Use the grill for bigger meals. The Sockeye @ Resurrection Bay

Welcome to The Sockeye at Resurrection Bay! Our new modern cottage features large windows and cozy spaces to enjoy the breathtaking views of Resurrection Bay, the legendary Mt. Marathon, and jaw dropping mountain panoramas. Located in downtown Seward, just one block up from the bay, enjoy watching the local wildlife, walk the beach or stroll along the waterfront. With 1 bedroom, featuring a king size bed, and a spacious loft featuring 2 queen size beds, The Sockeye sleeps 6 guests comfortably.

Cozy yurt just outside of town

If you're wanting something a little different than a hotel room, come stay in our yurt nestled at the back of our property. There are mountain views right outside the door. Located only a short distance to the Seward boat harbor and Kenai Fjords national park. The yurt features a skylight to lay in bed and view the sky, electric fireplace, water cooler, coffee maker, as well as a shared bath house with full size shower, vanity and toilet. There are 2 other yurts on site sharing the bathhouse.

Experience the Alaska lifestyle in our cozy, ON-grid yurt. Nestled a short walk up the hillside, you'll be serenaded by squirrels and can watch the trees rustling overhead from your new firm memory foam bed. Far from "roughing it", this yurt has all the amenities: hot and cold running (drinkable) water, electricity, a full kitchen and a shower. There is a composting toilet inside the yurt, but if you'd like to stick to a "normal" toilet, there is also a shared restroom near the parking area.

On your adventure to Seward unwind at our secluded new cabin nestled in the peaceful spruce trees on our property located 6 miles from downtown Seward & a 5 minute walk to a creek with stunning views of the mountains. Family friendly & children are welcome. Enjoy a drink on the patio or build a campfire using the fire pit. Our cabin has a queen size bed, comfy pull-out couch, full bathroom, TV, kitchenette with a sink, microwave, induction stovetop, refrigerator & dining table with 2 chairs.

Relax in this peaceful little Dry cabin with electricity no running water, but drinking water is available. Also outside port of potty that is maintenance/cleaned weekly We are kid and family oriented host 7 miles and 7 minute drive outside of the little town of Seward AK on bear lake road on a spacious piece of land! We are 10 minute walk from the lake and 5 minute walk from Tiehacker trail head. There are plenty of walking trails or an easy scenic stroll around BearLake subdivision

Oz Lodge: Alice Chalet

Welcome to our beautiful Alice Chalet—Alaska Chic at its finest! This brand new, luxury unit is built to accommodate 4 adults plus 2 children. This two-story chalet is complete with 3 beds (Upstairs: 1 queen bed, 1 double sized Murphy bed Downstairs: 1 queen pull-out couch) and a fully equipped kitchen including all cooking utensils. The washer and dryer are upstairs and laundry detergent is provided. Sit back, relax and enjoy this cozy space after fun-filled days exploring Seward!

Rustic Roots Cabins offers 7 nightly units. Our Seaside Indigo Cabin is nested right on the waterfront, with amazing views of Resurrection Bay. This craftsman cabin is rustic and has the feel of a modern houseboat at high tide. The cabin is quaint and perfect for 2 guests. It includes an en-suite bathroom, queen-size bed, sitting area, kitchenette, outdoor deck with BBQ, firepit ring, and private beach access.
