The old beams across the ceiling and huge pine floor boards make this room extra special, not to mention the propane fireplace & stunning views of The Machias River! Quite, clean, and the best price in town. These rooms tend to be on the smaller size, and do have SMALL bathrooms. This small, first floor waterfront room is in our historic Main House Inn, and has a large picture window facing the harbor and mountains of Mount Desert Island! Perfect for those who will be spending more time hiking and on the beach It has a queen bed with a private bathroom with tub/shower combination. No A/C, fans provided. Not pet friendly. *Complimenary Wine & Cheese night cancelled for 2021*

Dominion Hill Country Inn - Curtis Suite

This second floor private premier suite overlooks the gardens. The large bedroom has a polished wood floor installed more than 150 years ago. French doors separate the king size bed from the sitting room, with a full sized pull-out sofa. The private bathroom is spacious with a large shower. The suite is air conditioned with a smart television with Roku, WiFi, coffee station, and a mini fridge.
