Praline Waffles with candied pecans and dollops of whipped cream and strawberries). You can get by with about $20/person including coffee and maybe 1 drink order. Portland fine dining, incredible plating, and great cocktails. The chocolate brownie was the best we’d ever had — supposedly an original recipe since they first opened. Rooftop dining available.

More late night punk rock pizza by the slice - holds up ok after all these years. They are unabashedly counter-culture here. Definitely a local portland vibe if you want to experience the regional color. At least 2 Sizzle Pie locations.

The best Thai food in Portland besides Farmhouse (IMO), at significantly lower prices. Everything here is incredible and the prawns are so buttery and fresh.

It’s a must if you’ve come with your bucket list handy. Of course, we also have a voodoo doughnut at the Vancouver mall off the freeway exit for the Airbnb, but this is their flagship store.

For the wino - great wine selection. The food is really just an accompaniment to the wine and not especially impressive, however it is very fresh. Again, I don’t recommend this place for dinner, just drinks and maybe a small plate to share. French focus. Lovely European bistro feel.

Average prices, but easily rivaling if not surpassing the fanciest Italian restaurants in portland on flavor. A good selection of finer imported Italian foods, drinks and deserts available at their market.

Don’t go for dinner though, the food is so-so at best, but the bar is interesting. The Meads are the real draw, because who’s ever been to a Meadery?! FYI, many of the meads are quite sweet. It’s downstairs and closes early.
