Berlin is about 6 miles away. Very charming historic town with great local shops and amazing restaurants. We recommend The Globe, Blacksmith and Atlantic Hotel. There is a farmers market on Sundays starting at 9am!

Sightseeing
Both the State Park and the National Seashore are beautiful places. Both usually have ample parking and bathrooms. The beaches are much less crowded that Ocean City. Stop by the Assateague Surf Shop on your way down for some great food and shopping!

Useful information
Ocean City is surrounded by water and the temperature can fluctuate quite a bit with cooler temps at night and warmth during the day. Make sure to bring a variety of clothing to be comfortable in any temperature!
