Also known as Jardines de la Rosaleda or Parque del Oeste. At a walking distance from Plaza España, 5 minutes walk from Templo de Debod. The park is a wonderful place to stroll and Paseo de Pintor Rosales is a good option to relax . It is an elegant and peaceful avenue, perfect location to stop to eat or have a drink. The gardens are pretty especially in spring, when the rose garden is in full bloom.

Events and art

International centre of culture and artistic creation. Must visit. After sitting derelict for decades on the edge of town, the city’s slaughterhouses, with their stunning early-20th-century neo-Moorish architecture, have been reborn as Madrid’s most cutting-edge mixed-use arts complex for exhibitions, design, theater, film, and festivals. This is a fantastic place to spend the day: surrounding the pavilions are terrace cafes, and Madrid Río park. You can easily walk from home, along the river. https://www.mataderomadrid.org/en
