Enjoy a dip in the cold water splash pool on a hot summers day ( Note the splash pool is closed from 30 April- 30 September) or sit by the open fire .

Our Lodge on the mountain has the best views in the Magaliesberg. With sweeping vistas over the valley, you'll be immediately at peace gazing from the patio. A traditional thatch bush home, The Lodge has been lovingly updated with modern, artistic character. Despite a short 1hr 10 min drive from the city, you'll be transported to the heart of nature in this 2,000 hectare game conservancy. 'River on my stoep' is a well equipped self-catering cottage in the Hekpoort Valley. The wooden cabin is on the Magalies River and is surrounded by the sounds of nature - the haunting cry of a jackal and a chorus of frogs is our music at night. One of the few places that you can still see fire flies at night (in summer) A rowing boat is moored in front of the cottage, exclusively for our guests. 'Catch-and-release' fishing is permitted.
