Gerenoveerd boerenhuis met schuur anno 1901, stond vroeger bekend als de ''Kleine Pastory''. De naam van de B&B “in het Land van Kalk” verwijst naar de diverse kalkovens in de buurt. Een oude Kundersteen groeve uit vervlogen tijden, ligt 200 meter van onze B&B. Voerendaal is de poort van het Limburgse heuvelland. De wandelingen zijn prachtig. Voor fietsers zijn de routes een Walhalla. De Amstel Gold Race en Limburgs Mooiste zijn een van de bekendste wielerrondes die langs onze achtertuin komen.

Die Rurtalsperre, der Vennbahn-Radweg und das Naturreservat Nationalpark Eifel sind nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Durch die Lage im Dreiländereck sind sowohl die Niederlande als auch Belgien schnell zu erreichen. Die Stadt Aachen mit ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten ist ca. 30 min (Auto) entfernt. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 5 min (Auto) problemlos zu erreichen.

Unser Haus ist optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen auf dem Eifelsteig, rund um den Rursee und im Nationalpark. Vom eigenen Balkon aus haben Sie einen herrlichen Blick auf die Rur. Vor Ort bei uns müssen Sie ab 01.01.2025 eine Übernachtungsabgabe bar an uns entrichten. Sie besteht aus 5% des Buchungspreises. Dieser Betrag muss von uns 1:1 an die Gemeindes Simmerath weitergegeben werden!

Historic vicarage near Nürburgring

The half-timbered house is located in the courtyard of the old rectory of Kirmutscheid/Wirft only 5 minutes from the Nürburgring. The main house was built in 1709 by Baron Gallen zu Assen for the priest and is directly adjacent to the church which was built by Count Ulrich of Nürburg in 1214. The house with approx. 50 sqm of living space has been restored with great attention to detail and renovated only with natural building materials in order not to lose the pleasant indoor climate.
