Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

It is a totally private annex next to our main farmhouse in the picturesque village of Bampton Grange in the Lake District. A 10-minute drive away is Haweswater which is a great place to have a very peaceful hill walk. In the other direction, Pooley Bridge is more populated and offers diversions such as hiring a rowing boat or travelling up the Lake on a steamer.
