This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! With all of the modern conveniences including hot water, outdoor shower, bar fridge, wifi and well appointed outdoor kitchen. This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

Private Studio, with no direct interaction with the hosts. About 15 minutes from Gatineau and 20 minutes from Ottawa by car. For an additional fee (and subject to availability), you can access the spa, sauna, and cold plunge pool. A lunchbox breakfast is included. Perfect for workers or tourists. We have 2 dogs and a cat (they do not have access to the studio). The studio is independent, yet attached to the house, and we ask visitors to maintain an appropriate noise level during their stay.

This newly renovated cabin sits on a shared 3-acre property with our family’s lake house. Wakefield waterfront on the Gatineau river. Great views of and only a few steps from the iconic covered bridge and a short walk to restaurants, pubs and cafes. Two fireplaces, two decks, and plenty of parking. This is a brand new home that we are sure you will enjoy. Respectful, courteous guests only. The magnificent views from the home and the two large decks come with some effort and this vacation paradise is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Take it easy at this small but unique and tranquil getaway mini loft for two. A couple can enjoy a private hot tub and BBQ in the outdoor space or bring it indoors. Free street parking for all guests. Barrhaven is a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario. It is located about 17 km (20-25mins) southwest of the downtown Ottawa, Gatineau and Lac Leamy Casino by car! Barrhaven has a lot of parks, trails, restaurants, bars, cafe's, and shopping in the area.
