An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

The Groundskeeper's Cabin

The Groundskeeper's Cabin is a newly remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin located in the heart of Gasquet, CA, conveniently situated off the 199 highway. Gasquet is 20 miles from the ocean, 10 miles from the Redwood National Forest, and sits directly on the Smith River. Come for the many adventures that the tallest trees, cleanest river, and secluded beaches have to offer, but stay for a sense of pure serenity. This cabin is in its final stages of the remodel and will be ready to rent in August 2024

Smith River - Riverfront Retreat

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, ironing board/iron, washer and dryer. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Please do not try to access river from our property.

Shore Acres Ocean View Cabin and Retreat Space

Step back in time and experience the best that Humboldt has to offer at the exceptionally preserved Shore Acres cottage. Set on a serene and completely private parcel, this unique property offers unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and access to the Mad River frontage beach, as well as a private duck-stocked pond and local creek. Comfortable and cozy Farmhouse surrounded by nature and adjacent to the trails of Redwood National Park. Perfect location for exploring the Redwood Coast. Rental has a great room, full kitchen, Queen bedroom, bath, balcony and two sleeping lofts, which are accessed by ships ladders. Lofts recommended for children age 6 and older. There is a second vacation rental on the first floor reserved by one or two persons.
