Hi there I have 2 double rooms, 1 with a queen bed & the other with 2 single beds available in a nice 3 bedroom wooden home (the third bedroom is locked off ). National Park is 20 minutes drive to Whakapapa ski field and 45 minutes to Turoa ski field. The Tongariro crossing track is less than 15 minutes drive to the beginning. There are guides and other transport options available in national park for both the crossing and the ski fields. In my 3 bedroom, 2 story house I have brilliant views of all 3 mountains from the upstairs lounge (weather permitting). Fire Electric heaters And everything else a normal home has

Hidden Valley Lodge Ohakune

Hidden Valley is a rural property with three lakes within walking distance to the Junction (200 m). Perfect for hosting large groups, weddings, conferences, yoga retreats, parties and more. The lodge is rustic and the accomodation is basic. 10 bedrooms (queen beds & bunks) maximum 20 guests 3 bathrooms & drying room for ski gear. This bach is our happy place. Sat on 1/2 an acre it's an easy walk to central Ohakune's restaurants/bars/cafes and the supermarket. After walking, snowboarding, skiing or mountain biking relax on the deck or in the spa with a view to Mount Ruapehu. When you are ready for more action go to the games room for darts, pool or foosball. Both the bach and games room have heat pumps and TVs and of course there is wifi, plenty of parking, and a drying room.

Cosy Mt Ruapehu Chalet

Open plan living area with a light and bright modern kitchen, a spacious living area with a large wood burner that heats the whole house, plenty of firewood and a large private deck. The two spacious bedrooms are off the lounge making all rooms easy to heat. There is also a heat transfer system that takes warm air from above the wood burner and sends it directly to the drying room - great for drying ski gear after being on the mountain all day.
