Kambur - Old house

If you like old houses with character, uneven floors, old things and a beautiful view this is the place for you. Only 7 km from the main road close to all sights in the South. The house has a double bed in the living room, little cosy kitchen and toile with a sink - NO shower or bathtub !! 3x swimming pools within 30 km radius/ Ertu fyrir gömul hús, með eldri munum, hallandi gólfi og fallegu útsýni þá er þetta staðurinn fyrir þig. 7 km frá þjóðveginum. Cottage in beautiful surroundings close to several of Iceland's popular tourist destinations. The cottage has magnificent views. There are 3 bedrooms and a hot tub that can be enjoyed both summer and winter. It is located on a mountain slope with low forest around it in a peaceful area. Hiking, fishing and swimming are a short distance away. It has all the facilities needed and parking for 2-3 cars about 100 m from the cottage. Since the cottage is on a mountain slope, there is a slight slope.

We love to have guests in Hestheimar and want them to feel relaxed and like at home while staying in our guesthouse. If you have kids, we have a high chair, plastic cups and cutlery for them. We have some toys and children´s books in the dining room as well. Books about Iceland and some other books in English are also available to read. Breakfast is included when booking our rooms.
