Calf cabin- Unique and beautiful farmstead!

Countryside getaway! If you want to experience something unique during your trip to Iceland this little house has been repurposed as guest house. On our farm it has always been called the Calf cabin, as it was used as a small barn and a stable in the past. On the outside we preserved the old rock laying and the architecture style but mixed old and new styles on the inside. We recycled and repurposed as much material as possible and we are pleased with the outcome. Now it is a cozy little suite.

The house has a modern and well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. !!Starting mid-June, a brand-new Jacuzzi with massage function and lighting will offer even more comfort!!

Áskot Cottages, Holiday Home at a Horse Ranch

Áskot Cottages offer self-catering vacation homes located on a Family run Horse Ranch in South Iceland. It is ideal for 1 or 2 persons and the highlight of the stay will most likely be the outside geothermal shower with a mountain view. During the darkest months, can you imagine to take a shower under the Northern lights? Well that is possible! This cabin is not suitable for children and infants.
