A 10 minutes en voiture de Calheta, Jardim do Mar est un petit village romantique en bord de mer avec vue panoramique sur la mer. Il est exceptionnel pour Madère car il est proche du niveau de la mer et la plupart de ses maisons sont accessibles par un labyrinthe de jolis chemins.
