“La casa del bucato” è stata così chiamata perché è posizionata nelle vicinanze del lavatoio che un tempo (e qualche volta ancora oggi) veniva usato dalle donne del borgo per fare il bucato, “l’ansiva” appunto. Questa piccola ma accogliente casa, completamente accessibile, curato nei minimi dettagli per cullarvi nella suggestione montana, è costituita da un unico ambiente che ospita un letto matrimoniale, un angolo cottura e un bagno e affaccia su l’area esterna attrezzata adibita a solarium.

La casa è in un contesto geografico ideale perché vicino al centro città e contemporaneamente in un luogo molto tranquillo e immerso nel verde della prima collina di Aosta. PARFUM D'ANTAN si trova al piano inferiore della casa in cui vivono Italo e Laura e i loro figli Sofia e Matteo. Nella ristrutturazione, hanno voluto mantenere le caratteristiche originali . L'alloggio è arredato in stile di montagna con alcuni mobili antichi della tradizione rurale valdostana. E'costituito da due ambienti, un'ampia e luminosa cucina e un'accogliente camera con bagno. Gli spazi hanno pareti rivestite in legno di larice di cui si può apprezzare il calore ed il profumo.
