The Island of Pag has the most indented coast of all the islands in the Adriatic Sea (270 km) and 84 km of the coast are gravel & sand beaches. The access to the island is via a ferry (Prizna - Zigljen line) or the bridge (bridge of Pag). Average monthly temperature from May to September is above 20°C. The richness of the aromatic plants - and herbs with healing properties - which grow on the island give the local food (like sheep's cheese or lamb) a unique flavour. Local industries are collecting and processing sea-salt and lace-making. The island also boasts scientifically-acknowledged healing mud. The city of Pag is the oldest town on the island (on 30th March.1244, Bela IV granted it a charter to confirm its free royal status). The town itself has 20 km of sand beaches. The city beach is ideal for sport & fun and it is appropriate & safe for children. Near the beach there are also restaurants and cafés. There are near the house beautiful, natural beaches (approx. 250 m). There is in front of the house a large parking. Nearest small shop is located 10 minutes walking from the house, large stores are located in the center of the town of Pag. Center of the town is a 20 minute walk where there are cafes, restaurants and other tourist offer.
