Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Oughterard, the house is a 5 minute walk from the shores of Lough Corrib and its fishing facilities. The village of Oughterard, restaurants, cafes and grocery stores is 3kms from the house. Oughterard Golf course and Aughnanure castle are within 2kms. Connemara with its gorgeous villages and Atlantic beaches are easily reached by car as is the world famous Kylemore Abbey. Galway city with its many charms is located 25kms away.

Golden Mile Cottage comprises of three spacious double ensuite bedrooms. The bright and airy kitchen has cream country style fittings with sitting for 6, it is quipped with all the essentials. The kitchen’s open plan area leads into to a living area, a relaxing space that looks out through patio doors onto the south facing terrace and lawn.
