Welcome to my home on Hatteras Island, located in the village of Frisco directly on Pamlico Sound in a residential neighborhood. You have a private entrance and screened-in porch, as well as a shared sundeck. My house is on a ridge & your room is on the 2nd floor, giving you spectacular views of the sound. From the property, you can easily kayak or SUP. Both the beach and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse are only a short drive away. There are also many shops, galleries, and eateries to explore.

It is located within walking distance to Silver Lake, Coffee/Juice spots, Restaurants and shops ! We are pet friendly with a 90% fenced in yard space. Some pet amenities provided. Welcome to the perfect getaway for any nature enthusiast looking to experience waterfront living, OBX style! The spacious layout accommodates up to four people with a king master bedroom and open loft queen bedroom. We are situated right next to a small private dock that offers a boat launch for a $5 drop box fee. Perfect for fishermen, kiteboarders and all water sport fanatics!

Surf Bus

The surf bus is a beautiful boho style cottage, with a full bed, sitting area and kitchen. The bath house is separate. To those of you that have been here before, the new location is just as magical but definitely different than the previous spot. The outdoor shower allows you enjoy sunshine, moonlight and starlight. It is also very spacious. The yard is sunny and open with a picnic table and grill. Perfect for the more adventurous:) Must be mobile and agile to enjoy :)

Pop’s Net House

Pop’s Net House was built by my grandfather, Maurice Ballance, in the early 1970’s out of wood repurposed from the old Ocracoke school house that was built in 1917. This property is centrally located in the middle of the village down Marks Path, which was named after Maurice’s grandfather, Mark Gaskins. It’s walking distance to Zillie’s Island Pantry, Ocracoke Coffee Company, and many other restaurants and shops. Come enjoy the privacy of Pop’s Net House on Ocracoke island!

Situated in Hatteras Village, our cabana #33 is a free-standing studio, pet friendly condo just steps away from the beach. Enjoy a view of the ocean from the rooftop deck. The National Park Service maintains the adjacent beach which is part of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This is the only beach in the Carolinas where you can enjoy the warmth and romance of a fire on the beach. Pets are allowed with a $75 pet fee plus tax.
