WE SIT ON A SMALL CANAL WITH BOAT RAMP AND DOCKAGE FOR SMALL SKIFF AVAILABLE FOR AN EXTRA FEE. BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS! VERY COZY! Only two blocks to the ocean, it sleeps 4-5 and features outdoor living amenities like two private upstairs decks and a hot tub overlooking the creek. The front covered porch is fun out of the sun!

August Rose Cottage is a very special studio style private entrance apartment in our personal home. It is located off of a private driveway with only 3 homes facing the sound. It's a true peaceful oasis with sound front access and sunsets that will amaze you! Full service kitchenette and laundry room. We have done our best to make you feel at home in our beach cottage. Built in the 50's, located in a quiet neighborhood next to Springer's Nature Preserve, we kept the homey cozy granny decor. There is a generous screened porch for entertaining and dining. The large yard is surrounded by woods and provides direct access to the Springer's Point trail. The trail is a lovely path to the waterfront on the sound-side of the island, and home to impressive live oak trees, a historic graveyard, and the site of Blackbeard the Pirate's final battle!
