Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Hjertelig velkommen i mit sommerhus! Huset er et murstenshus fra 1976 på ca. 50 m2 med en stor træterrasse, der har sin helt egen æbletræsparasol. Her sover man gode middagslure og slubrer kaffe i skyggen🌳🌞 Huset ligger for enden af en blind vej i et roligt sommerhuskvarter. Haven er en naturgrund med gamle træer. Åen løber langs haven. Følg den en hyggelig tur på ca. 900 m. - så står I på Rågelejes smukke strand.
