De B&B ligt in Blokker: een klein dorpje in de provincie Noord-Holland, gelegen nabij de historische havensteden Hoorn en Enkhuizen. Achter onze woning (voormalig boerderijtje uit 1834)bevindt zich de B&B: een vrijstaande chalet (een hoge lichte ruimte) gelegen aan de rand van de royale tuin. Cottage aan het water met motorbootje

Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. This holiday house in the back of my garden offers the excellent retreat if you want to experience the beauty of the Dutch dunes and beaches and escape the hectic city life. The house is located in a quiet street, walking distance from the beach (10 min) . Egmond aan Zee is one of the most beautiful areas in The Netherlands only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam (station Heiloo is 5 km from Egmond aan Zee). Excellent for hikes and cycling. There is a storage for the bikes with the house.

Come and stay in a houseboat! We offer a private guesthouse with large dining / living room (including comfy bedsofa for 2) and separate toilet upstairs. Downstairs a queensize bed overlooking the water and bathroom with shower & large bath. A terrace in front with several seatings and a swing bench. Located in a beautiful green street very near the center: 2 stops by tram or 15 min walk from central station. We don't serve breakfast but provide many nice basics to prepare your own.

For nightlife, musea and city life the beautiful cities of Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Haarlem are close by. De beaches are about 30 min. drive

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
