Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

With easily access to footpaths local beaches and historic sites such as Battle Abbey, Herstmoneux Castle , Hasting Old Town, Bodium Castle etc.The Potting Shed has its own self contained garden (fenced) so well-behaved dogs are more than welcome. All the pubs and resturants locally to us allow dogs . No stag or hendos - sorry! we can sleep 4 x adults but also 2 x children on pull out beds.

Bexhill and Cooden Beaches are a ten minute drive (3.5 miles away). Battle Station with direct line to Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and London. Bexhill station with direct lines to Eastbourne , Brighton and Gatwick are both just a ten minute drive away.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.

Situated in the High Street directly opposite the famous Battle Abbey you are perfectly placed to explore the town and surrounding area. The apartment is decorated with an appreciation of the architecture and history of the Abbey whilst including inspirations from the surrounding countryside.

The Stables is a converted self-catering cottage in what was the original stables and coach house of Boreham House bed and breakfast and is ideal for couples or families. Inside the cottage the accommodation has been renovated to a very high standard while retaining much of the original character. The cottage is set in beautiful East Sussex countryside within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Quiet location with a large garden and beautiful views over the countryside. We have many family celebrations here but the property is not suitable for very loud parties as we have neighbours to consider. Hot tub available with a fee of £100 per stay payable on your arrival.
