Unique and tranquil, in the shade of large Jackalberry trees. At the edge of our beautiful Samochima lagoon, a cool breeze always enters through gauze windows. At night a hippo might graze outside while the Pel's Fishing owl grunts a few yards away. Organic building materials - clay, reeds and canvass, gives a safari feel but with added amenities of self-catering, electricity and wifi. Walking distance to other entertainment options, e.g. boat rides, restaurant and bar, which can be arranged.

Termite Tented 5 accommodates 2 guests. A spacious ensuite tent on a deck under shade. The bathroom has a shower, loo & basin & includes linen, towels, fan, a safe for your valuables & charging ports. Set under a shady Leadwood tree a kitchen with a gas cooker & fridge / freezer leads onto a dining deck. A fire pit with camp chairs & bbq facilities. Termite Tented 5 can be booked alone for 2 guests; with Termite Tented 4 for 4 guests; or with Termite Tented 4 & Termite Villa for 10 guests.

The mooring facility is located in the Panhandle region of the Okavango Delta on the banks of the Okavango River, village of Shakawe, nestled in Ngamiland’s North western corner in Botswana. You will stay in the twin bedded / double bedded boathouse that has all utilities included- our boat is stationery unless if you are a team of fisherman and you want to drive out, we will run the boat for you - full kitchen, lounge, TV, dining all rooms ensuite. Termite Villa sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 en-suite bedrooms. Two upstairs rooms with queen bed, bathroom & viewing decks. Downstairs a twin room with en-suite. The downstairs room opens up onto the living area. The bathrooms have a shower, loo & basin and rooms are equipped with mosquito nets, fans & charging ports. You can either sleep on top of your car or put your tent on the floor. You have access to the common ablutions and have a place to clean your dishes.
