Walk to Newport Beach from a Warm Studio

Newport Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches is fast becoming an exclusive holiday destination for Australian and International holiday-makers alike. If night life or a faster pace is more your style then Manly is less than half an hour by car, travelling South. From here the Manly ferry can take you across Sydney Harbour to the CBD for a day of sightseeing. The beach is less than 5 minutes down one end of the road and should you chose to explore the other end of the road, you'll find the historic Bungan Castle, built in 1919. Majestically perched on the headland overlooking Bungan Beach, every stone of this castle was brought over by its German owner and it is now heritage listed. The Blue House

Get away from the noise and bustle in this peaceful, light-filled room with private bathroom. Listen to the surf at night and wake up to the birds in the morning. Private access (with keycode) from rear street. This is an old house but it's clean and comfortable. If you are looking for 5 star accomm, you'd be better to look elsewhere. However, over 400 guests have really enjoyed their stay in The Blue House. Order your dinner with UberEats, or visit one of many eateries in Newport or Avalon.

Blissful Bilgola is perched on the hill between Newport and Avalon beaches. A gorgeous one bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of our home, fitted out with every modern convenience you can imagine. It is sectioned off from the main house with own entrance. The property overlooks lush grass, manicured gardens and resort like pool for you to indulge in at your leisure. Seconds walk from bus stop, cafes, park, IGA store, wine merchant. There is a camera in the front yard & back deck.

The studio is 36 m2 and is part of a small block of 8 units and has everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. A 12 min walk to Newport village you can go shopping at the local boutiques, try out one of the many cafes/restaurants or head straight to the beach for a day in the sun and then after all that you can have a drink while watching the sun set at The Newport Hotel.

There is busses to Barrenjoey Lighthouse/Palm Beach, Manly, Brookvale and Sydney CBD. Ask about the beautiful coastal bushwalks and whale watching lookouts. You can expect a visiting kookaburra, Koel or other native birds in the still of the morning. Don’t be surprised if you see a possum at night or if you are very lucky a leaf tailed gecko.
