Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Weekend "Wee"treat - Floyd County Tiny House

Get away to a private setting in Floyd County with your very own tiny home. Located just a 15-17 minute drive to downtown Floyd. Our tiny house is located on 2 wooded acres in a quiet, rural setting with plenty of room for the entire family. We encourage use of the entire site for tent camping alongside the tiny house. Kitchenette w/outdoor grill, bathroom with clawfoot tub, stackable washer/dryer, central HVAC and complimentary Level 2 EV charging are just some of the amenities to be found.

The SheShed

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SheShed has a million dollar view and is located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is at a 3000 ft elevation with vast views of the mountains and valleys. A hiker’s dream location with several hiking trails in the surrounding area. When not hiking you can visit the many vineyards or take a trip to the nearby towns to enjoy local shops, music and dining. This cabin is designed for a couple to get away and get back to nature.
