About us The Building has just finished a 2.5 year renovation, it has been brought to life as an Art Deco Inspired Motel. We have reconfigured the old 22 room Motel into 7 Boutique Apartments, the rooms have been fully renovated in tastefully art Décor style reflecting the period & history of The Star. All rooms have Modern facilities with Tea & Coffee Making Facilities. Apartments 1 & 7 have a full self-contained Kitchens Each Room consists of separate Bedroom with Queen Bed/ Separate Bathroom/ Separate Lounge Dinning. They range in sizes & Colour Palate, from 48¿ to 98.5¿ with most Apartments in 60¿+, so very spacious, perfect to unwind & relax.

This gorgeous property is set well back from the road on 20 acres of manicured gardens with roses, dams, vineyard, kangaroos, resident wombat & central to all that Pokolbin &the wine region has to offer. Many of the best restaurants, wineries and breweries are within walking distance. This queen hotel style room is located in the main guesthouse and has a large private bathroom, bar fridge, tea /coffee making facilities and access to shared spaces including fire pit, BBQ, Pavilion, pool & more.

Family - 2 Rooms - queen + bunk beds - Ocean View

Indulge in 40m2 of coastal inspired living, these are our larger rooms and perfect for a family up to 5. They feature 1 queen bed in the main living space and a bunk bed in a separate room (double bed on the bottom of the bunk + single bed on the top of the bunk). Our beautiful light filled family rooms are accessible by 1 set of stairs. Large glass doors course the length of the room, opening onto a share balcony that showcases the panoramic views of the river and ocean.

The Carriages Guesthouse Suite

Enjoy a country style experience in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country. Drive through the boutique vineyard to arrive at the beautiful Guesthouse nestled in park-like surroundings. Relax on the wide verandah with a wine or book, watching out for the kangaroos and Wallabies. Wake up to birdsong and a delicious breakfast hamper which is included. At a cosy 18m2, the courtyard rooms feature a queen bed and sleep up to 2. These are our smallest rooms but are stylish, efficient and perfectly pleasant. They face an undercover open air courtyard. The courtyard looks out to the waterways and enjoys ocean breezes. You are only steps away from the swimming pool, and have direct access to the coastal galley kitchen and common outdoor lounge area. 1 set of stairs allows access to these rooms

Woodridge Park - Family Room 2

Woodridge Park is set in a peaceful bushland setting, which is approx. 5 mins drive from the town of Wauchope. Offering motel style accommodation, 5 separate and private rooms, each with their own ensuite, and all surrounding a common grassed courtyard. There is also a communal kitchen. Great for couples, families or group bookings, with plenty of parking for cars/caravans/trailers. Great for stop overs or a little escape away to recharge.

Sliding stacked glass doors that span the entire width of your room open onto a mid century share balcony offering undisturbed views of our spectacular waterways. There are just 2 of these 20m2 light filled, ocean facing rooms up for grabs. 2 sets of stairs allow access to these rooms

Budget Twin Share has two single beds.

Dungog is the gateway to the beautiful Barrington Tops. The Bank Hotel is a traditional country pub with delicious counter meals and icy cold beer. We have entertainment most Friday nights. Our budget twin room has two single beds, TV and sink with hot and cold taps. The bathroom facilities and tea and coffee are shared. You can also help yourself to a complimentary continental breakfast.

2 Bedroom Suite - Ocean View

Perched on the highest floor, and naturally offering the best ocean views on our property, The 2 Bedroom Ocean View Suite is our largest and most indulgent room. It is the perfect location to celebrate special occasions, or just if you’re craving a little more sophistication and space.
