WELCOME to coastal living in a small, quaint, fishing community located 2 blocks from the Sapelo River. A short walk or golf cart ride to marinas, restaurants, and one of the finest golf courses in the low country. Enjoy the gorgeous view on the "bluff", with mossy oaks and historical landmarks, while dining at one of our world famous seafood restaurants. All of this is within a 40 minute drive to Savannah, located just 9 miles off I-95, exit 67 south or exit 58 traveling north. Pets welcome!

Cozy house that has modern new kitchen and baths and lots of living space. Comfortable beds and great views. Rivers and marsh as far as you can see. Walk down dock and get into your boat. Beautiful covered dock house fully equip with fresh water, lights, electricity and fish cleaning station. New floating dock with water at low tide. House has covered porch with rockers and table for eating or just sitting. Modern public boat ramp 2 miles away and 15 minutes by water. Very private and quiet.

Take a boat tour with Georgia Tidewater Outfitters. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Bring your boat, the DARIEN BOAT RAMP IS 3 blocks away. Sapelo island is a 30 minute boat ride away. I/95 is less than 2 miles away for a quick overnight stay!

Loggerhead Lodge on Sapelo

Loggerhead Lodge is nestled in the Hog Hammock community and is the ideal choice for families or groups looking to escape and enjoy the captivating beauty of Sapelo Island, a semi-private gem nestled off the coast of Georgia. Sapelo Island is a state-managed barrier island, the fourth largest in the chain of coastal Georgia islands, and boasts an abundance of wildlife and is a birder’s paradise! When visiting Darien, Lighthouse Cottage is a great choice. It is walking/bicycling distance from Downtown, Fort King George, Historic square, Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge (Great for wildlife photography) Parks and Waterfront also Restaurants and Shops. You'll find everything you need inside. Open living area, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom and there is an available washer/dryer. Perfect cottage for you and a companion.

Secluded A-frame on a gorgeous private lot. Enjoy a private pool (pool is NOT heated, but open year round), outdoor lounging, record player, and a high-end kitchen. 35 mins. To downtown Savannah’s, and plenty of dining, boating and shopping closer. 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. 6 guests max. No parties or outside guests allowed. IMPORTANT: Home is NOT suitable for infants or children under 13 due to steep stairs, unrailed elevated decks, fragile glass architectural features.

This house is a quiet recluse on the marsh and a tidal creek. It faces Sapelo Island and is close to St. Simons, Jekyll, and Savannah. Great for naturalists with a 1.5 acre fresh water pond for exotic birds and wildlife and near to the Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge. We have 2 double kayaks, a canoe, 8 bikes, a hot tub and a sky for stargazing. The well-equipped kitchen opens to the great room with bedrooms on each wing. Pets welcome and plenty of parking.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house, which sleeps 9! Pets are welcome with a $25.00 per pet fee, as long as they do not get on the furniture. Plenty of parking for several vehicles and/or one or two boats! Public boat ramp four blocks away. Walking distance to B & J's, Skippers, Oaks on the River, Tabby House, Waterfront Wine and Gourmet, and Marsh Pirate Tap House.
