Ttunu House is situated in Lamu Town, a world heritage site, with views over the Manda Channel and the town’s sky line. The house has been recently and beautifully renovated, combining of authentic Swahili methods of construction with modern details. Ttunu House is a historic, merchant’s town mansion dating from 1740. Historic detailing mixes with modern luxury. Beautiful patios and roof terraces let you enjoy the breeze, the sun, and the stars. An oasis of tranquillity in the heart of Lamu.

DAR EL EDEN HOUSE is an old 18th century swahili house carefully restaured and expanded in 2009 This coral stone house maintains its original swahili architecture with local traditional materials and tadelakt plaster technique used in Marocco. Original 3,5 m ceilings and walls are decorated with carved niches , freezes and alcoves . The 4 levels home with swimming pool ,5 bedrooms suiting up for 12 persons includes a 360 degrees panoramic view on the city and ocean on third floor.

Shamba la Shela

Only for the adventurous that can walk, sweat and relax unapologetically. Home is a fifteen minute walk away from ‘Shela civilization’ and a magical dune hike to the beach for sunset picnics. Chill out with your whole family or by yourself at this peaceful home away from home in a one acre compound. Full house ready for guests! The typical Lamu courtyard is the center of it all, a serene space from which all other rooms emerge. The three-story building (360m2) with roof access offers an amazing view of the Indian Ocean under the makuti which protects from the rain and sunshine. This results in a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable house with "Umma House" as the name. The Villa has a total of three rooms all equipped with ensuite bathrooms.

Pumbao House is a stunning villa located 2 minutes away from the beach in the beautiful village of Shela, Lamu Island, Kenya. It features a private swimming pool with a fountain in a cool and shady yard and breathtaking sea views from the upper terrace. Pumbao House can welcome up to ten people with its 5 bedrooms. The stewards Mickael and Rehema & the cook Mwembe will welcome you, cook delicious dishes, keep the house clean and do your laundry.

Nyumba Kiru

Surrounded by century old baobabs, Nyumba Kiru is a stunning villa facing the ocean. Our house can welcome large group (14 pax) or just a couple for a romantic weekend. We rent out the whole house from 2 to 14 pax so you will never have to share with anyone. Nyumba Kiru has a pool, dining areas, bar, kitchen, umbrella and sun bed around the pool and on the beach. Wifi access and TV/DVD system. The house runs on solar system and generator.
