Our lakefront mountain home is the perfect family vacation destination or for a weekend getaway with friends. Ideally situated on 2 acres of gently sloping land on Lake Glenville near the villages of Cashiers and Highlands, the Lakehouse’s 200+ feet of shoreline, provide ample space to enjoy swimming or relaxing on the sun terrace overlooking the lake. It is one of the few homes on the lake that truly has a large sloping lawn down to the waterfront making it the perfect home to enjoy the lake.

Enjoy our 50-acre paradise in the Nantahala Forest. The cottage, a modular home, overlooks our horse pastures and Otter Creek. Enjoy 4 miles of forested trails, 3,000 feet along Otter Creek, a historic barn, wildlife, and native plants. The rhythm is set by the horses, the flow of the creek and the ever-changing view of nature around you. We're near mountain and river adventures, and 20 - 45 minutes from tourist towns. We are not a fancy mountain cabin but you'll be amazed by the destination.

We also offer 2 kayaks for guests to take out to Lake Glenville, an espresso + coffee setup, and other amenities to make you feel at home!

Downtown Cashiers and its grocery store, boutique shopping, and restaurants are only five miles away. Turn right onto Route 64 and travel 20 minutes to the town of Highlands, NC to explore Main Street and its' shopping and restaurant experiences.

Relax with your whole crew in a peaceful, secluded house right on the lake. Spend the days paddling around in the supplied canoes, jumping off the dock into the crystal clear water and floating to your hearts content. The only sounds you will hear is the waterfall across the way and the streams that run on each side of the house. In the evenings enjoy dinner on the deck, drinks by the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub.
