Quiet Montana Getaway not far from Civilization

Quiet Montana Getaway! Our guest apartment is a part of a quiet country home and is located in the back of our shop. You will have your own private entrance and parking. Beautiful mountain views from the property and direct access to 5100+ acres of BLM out of our back yard! Our neighborhood is quiet and will provide a perfect getaway. Everything is close by and is under a 30 min drive. The city of Helena, Great Divide Skiing, all kinds of lakes! No meals, but coffee and tea are provided.

Centrally located to downtown, Spring Meadow lake, Broadwater hot springs, and hiking and biking trails. Our spacious basement apartment boasts all the essentials for an unforgettable stay! The kitchen and bath are equipped with all the amenities you need. The decor is comfortable with just a little twist of humor and good spirit.

Access to Helena trailheads is at your doorstep, with access to 80+ miles of single-track trails for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running within blocks. 10 minute walk to downtown for shopping, breweries and restaurants. 20 minute walk to the Capitol. The Ranch House is on a 900 acre cattle ranch in the Elkhorn Mountains about 25 minutes outside of Helena. We are close to the attractions of Montana's capital city, but nestled on top of the mountains, perfect for enjoying a true Montana outdoor experience. We are a perfect halfway point for travelers visiting both Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks looking to keep an authentic Montana feel.

Mountain Getaway, Gold Creek! (Unit 217)

Cabin has one queen bed on main “open” floor, 2 beds in loft, (one queen and one full). Loft has a sturdy built in ladder, not suitable for toddlers or little kids. Equipped with gas cook top, refrigerator, microwave, sink, bathroom w/ shower, tv (DVD's and ROKU). Situated approximately 5 miles from the Clark Fork River, and 1 mile from public Montana Government Lands (Pontoon boats available to rent for self-guided tours, please inquire.)

The Clarke Street "Mini-Vic"

Built in 1890, this "mini" Victorian is a block from Mt. Helena's superb biking/hiking trails and 5 blocks from breweries, restaurants and the historic Last Chance Gulch. Recently updated, the Mini Vic still maintains its 19th century charm. Spacious kitchen and bath, formal dining and an inviting living room with gas fireplace. Cozy outdoor space with gas BBQ and firepit. Great location and a great little home while you enjoy Helena!

Rusty Spur Guest House and Gallery

2 bedroom cabin sleeps up to 6 people with a double bed in each bedroom and a double futon in the living room. Linens are provided. Fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, gas range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots & pans and utensils for basic cooking. This is an old rustic cabin. It’s not a new cabin with rustic decor. It is recommended that you adjust your expectations so that you are not disappointed.

Located 5 miles from a major trailhead accessing the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. The guest house is in a separate building on the ranch above my saddle shop.
