Beautiful house on highway 88 that is our home away from home and would love to have you to enjoy it like we do. Very large yard that you can have a bonfire or play outside games. Blue Ridge Parkway 1 1/2 miles away, eateries and Shatley Springs nearby. Jefferson and West Jefferson 15 to 20 minutes away. New River State Park 10 minutes away. Winery minute away. Kick back and relax in this Luxurious mountain contemporary home located in the poplar subdivision of Cross Creek Farms, Blowing Rock NC. This home sits on a 2 acre lot with plenty of privacy and has an abundance of windows allowing the sunlight shine through and for you to enjoy the beauty of the forest that surrounds you. This home features an open concept with vaulted living area, large kitchen, expansive bedroom with spa like bathroom. A short drive miles to either Boone or Blowing Rock.

This little cabin, surrounded by mountain laurels with a bubbling creek that runs behind the screened back porch, features a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeping loft with two twins. The rustic interior is comprised of huge logs, cement chinking, with wood floors, walls, doors, and ceilings. The gas logs in the fireplace are surrounded by floor to ceiling rocks. The kitchen with stainless appliances is well appointed. One and a half baths and laundry room provide conveniences.

Two queen beds, a vintage claw-foot tub beside a picture window, and a full wall of glass that frames the forest and nightly Blue Ridge sunsets. Cozy wood stove, reliable Wi-Fi, and a tidy kitchenette with fridge, electric cooktop, and microwave. Hotel-grade linens, plush towels, and thoughtful art details create a dreamy, off-grid-feel retreat for up to four guests. Dogs welcome.

Lots to do in the area. Great sightseeing, small town main street shopping and art district in nearby West Jefferson. Area activities include hiking, biking, picnicking, canoeing, tubing, fishing & leaf peeping. House is fully renovated and offers all comforts of home.

Hurrican Helene did not damage the area. HWY 421 to 77 to 21 is open. Enjoy the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where the second oldest river runs through! Canoeing, fishing, tubing, hiking & the slender of nature. Great for a single person or a couple. Or just sit on the porch overlooking the river and relax! There are great restaurants in town and the feel of small-town people. This is our happy place, and I know it will become yours too.
