The Hamilton is a 1920s Pullman train car located in the historic village of Lamy, NM in it's own tree lined park next to the Lamy Train Station where Amtrak stops twice daily. A 20 minute drive from Santa Fe makes this is a great getaway while staying close to the action. The Hamilton is a 2 min walk to the soon to be opened El Ortiz Cafe, Nuckolls Beer Garden and The Legal Tender Restaurant. You can hike right out the door, and enjoy out-of-this-world star gazing, and amazing sunrises and sunsets!

A stargazers delight, evenings are celebrated as you bask in the quiet of the night. The closest hiking trails are a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the casita. We are located immediately off the Original Old Rt 66 with numerous distinct climates within a twenty minute drive.
