ADK's South Shore Retreat

Enjoy your time in the ADK relaxing at our newly renovated, private and spacious home. This is a 4 season retreat. We have lake rights to Lake Pleasant-swimming, kayaking, or canoeing are only a 10-15 min walk or short drive. Please note: our lake access is shared with neighbors. Rent a boat for a day of fun. There is also plenty of hiking nearby. In the winter, enjoy the slopes, Oak Mountain is 5 mins away and Gore Mountain, only 30 mins. There is quick trail access for your snowmobile as well.

Create memories at our lakefront cottage with private beach and dock in the heart of the ADK Mountains. Lake and mountain views greet you from large picture windows. Located just steps from Lake Pleasant Golf Course and close to Camp of the Woods, this property is also near hiking trails, groceries, dining & shopping as well as being on the "sunset side" of the lake. Aluminum dock, kayaks, canoe, SUP &paddleboat provided, as well as all linens, Beekman 1802 toiletries and well stocked kitchen.

This house is set up for your enjoyment including grand living spaces and a large game room in the lower level. We are less than a mile from the public beach and lake access, use our canoe or bring yours. Hiking and walking trails nearby. Come visit and explore the ADK! The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

Stay within the Adirondack Park in our comfortable, spacious, and newly updated home. Make NPT Pass your basecamp for all things outdoors. From Fall hikes, Winter snowmobiling & skiing, Spring and Summer kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and biking. This area will keep you busy! Or, just relax on our backyard patio and enjoy a cozy fire. This region of the Adirondack's has so much to offer. We have plenty of parking and lake access is just a short drive away. Enjoy what we have come to love!
