Quiet little piece of heaven on earth. Enjoy the lake, sit by a fire, enjoy the nature God has provided in our sanctuary on Pickett Lake. Boat ramp is 100 yards down the road. 4 kayaks, canoe, and paddleboard are provided, all of which can be launched from the house. Fish from the dock or explore the lake. Use the grill or take a short drive to Branford or Mayo and enjoy some of the restaurants. Come boat, fish, or swim in the lake or just enjoy the lake view. Outdoor fire pit includes wood.

We’re also on a private grass strip airfield in case you’d like to fly in with your private plane! Bring your golf cart, boat and side by side, for a trip that will be talked about for years to come! Also With the private airstrip being right out back, look up at the stars! Star gazing is out of this world! No telescope needed! ✨

We are next door to Rum Island Park which is a swimming spring, kayak and canoe pick up/ drop off/boat ramp location. It is a private cottage. 1 bdr Sleeps 4. 1 Bedroom with a sleeper sofa. You’ll love my place because of the location. The river is in the backyard. You can launch your personal canoe or kayak. Sit by the fire pit or enjoy the deck and cook out with friends and family. This 1500 SF home is the perfect way to get away from the urban rat race without having to "rough it". The master bedroom and living room offer large-screen LCD TVs and the two additional bedrooms have 32" LCD TVs. Washer and dryer are off the kitchen. A huge rear deck and both fixed and floating docks provide options for watching the sun rise over the river, sturgeon jumping and manatee meandering along. Wheelchair accessible. Fun times!
