Beautiful and bright newly renovated studio located on a unique ¾ acre property near the U of A. This tiny (220 sq. feet) and charming cottage was originally the water-pump house (in the 1940’s). The cottage has a walk in shower and a kitchen area consisting of a fridge and microwave and is set up to allow you plenty of privacy. This little gem has it's own patio and private garden. It is a two minute walk to the beach - a wide, beautiful, & virtually deserted - lovely for swimming. Yet it is near the center of town, steps away from restaurants and outdoor activity providers. We appreciate that traveling during the pandemic can be daunting. We take cleanliness and sanitation most seriously. We have put a minimum of 2 days between guests. During that time, we will clean, sanitize and ventilate the property.

Pool available for $5. Keep in mind: Weather may impact road conditions although a 4WD is not required to get to this site. Take it easy on the road once it’s not paved.

This is a perfect property for one or two individuals. Studio style unit has bed, kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard. Space is attached to the main property, but has complete privacy. Unit also boats high 9 ft ceilings and mini split unit for cooling/heating. Bathroom was also recently remodeled.

Welcome to the Desert Dome! We are located in small village of Chaparral, NM. This is a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life while still having all the city amenities close by. You can find lots of hiking and biking trails in the area. We love furry friends, and would be happy to have your pets here too. There is a fenced in back area for their use. All pets must be leashed if not in the fenced area.

The morning sun will wake you up just in time, if you are lucky, to catch a glimpse of the curious dolphins swimming by the bay. It truly is an experience like no other!
