Place to stay in Brackenfell. My place is within a 2km radius of Cape Gate Mediclinic, Cape Gate Shopping Mall, Makro. It is also within close to the N1 highway and plus minus 20km from Cape Town International Airport. It is also close to Simonsvlei and Durbanville and Stellenbosch Winelands. Cape Town beaches are within easy reach (34 - 40)km. There are plenty of eating places around as well as some who will deliver. My place very secure and we stay in a quiet neighbourhood.

There's also rainwater storage, filtered and piped to the house in the event of municipal water supply issues.

Our Guest flat is located conveniently between the Stellenbosch wineglass and the Cape Town City centre. Come and stay in our peaceful studio cottage high up on Helderberg Mountain surrounded by trees and hear the owls hooting as you fall asleep! Beautiful new cottage, with it's own deck and garden and stylishly furnished to meet your every need. And now with solar installed (April 2023) we have NO LOAD-SHEDDING! We've replaced the oven and hob with a fully gas stove so all appliances can be used during load shedding!

Stonewall guest suite

This guest suite is set on a working wine farm in the winelands between Somerset West and the historic town Stellenbosch. It is situated in what used to be the stables and has since been converted to a tasting room and guest suite. The suite consists of a big, airy room, a separate kitchenette and a bathroom. It has its own front porch with a view over the farmstead and it is adjacent to a chicken coop.

It is an open plan area, therefore recommended for a maximum of 2 adults.

This single studio is the ideal place for professional or solo travelers with everything they need for a short stay. The studio is in Somerset West. If you're in the area and need a comfortable place to stay without driving back to Cape Town this room will suit you. We have backup batteries to ensure you have consistent WiFi and lights available during load shedding.
