We opened this guest house in October, 2017. It is the middle of downtown in Kyoto. It is 5 minutes walk from Kawaramachi station(Hankyu line). From Shijo station, it is 10 minutes walk. From Shijo station to Kyoto station is 4 minutes by subway. Our guest house is next to Shin-kyogoku dori, there are many restaurants, souvenir shops, convenient stores, fashion items, 100yen stores.... It is easy to access to Nishiki-ichiba(we called the kitchen of Kyoto, market), Teramachi dori, Gion on foot.

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

Tubara is in the Higashiyama in Kyoto. You can go to so many sights (Kiyomizu temple, Kenninji temple, Yasaka shrine, Fushimiinaritaisha, Gion area, Kamo river, downtown..) on foot! Tsubara was 100y old Machiya, we lovely restored all possible to original style using antique fittings & materials by traditional craftsmanship. We love Tsubara, we hope the guests too! Outdoor bath & Suikinkutsu make amazing time for you.

Unoan townhouse near Gion

Our house Unoan is a 100-year old machiya that has been beautifully renovated into a luxurious accommodation for short stays. You can rent the whole house. The house is in an excellent location with easy access to popular sightseeing spots such as historical Gion area, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizudera Temple, Sanjusangendo Temple, and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The main shopping areas, department stores and the Pontocho dining and entertainment district are all within easy walking distance.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The price is scheduled to increase from March 2026.

A modern Japanese-style house in Higashiyama, Kyoto. A short walk away, there is the World Heritage Site Kiyomizu Temple and Yasaka Shrine at Kamon Inn Higashiyama Gojo. Around the inn, there are many city buses and many restaurants. You can enjoy Kyoto's Japanese cuisine in this area. Room B is a completely private vacation rental on the second floor of the building. There are no common areas with other guests, so you can enjoy your private space.

Located 2 min from a bus stop, or 10 min from Gion Shijo station. Located in Gion near Yasaka shrine, this is a great area to take in the atmosphere or Kyoto. Located near a variety of famous shops, cafes, and places to eat. You can rent a kimono nearby and enjoy the sites. The room is a modern mix between a traditional Japanese room and a modern apartment. The room is comfy and spacious so its great to relax after a day of sight seeing :)
