The cottage is less than a 5 minute walk from the main street in Sedbergh village and the Yorkshire Dales Way is right outside the front door. It has been furnished to a high standard and is the ideal getaway. This chocolate box village has stunning hikes, bike rides, wild swimming, golf and fishing for the outdoor type. What the cottage lacks in size, it certainly makes up for in location and home comforts. Literally a stone’s throw from the famous waterfalls of Gayle Beck and a few minutes walk from Hawes’ historic Market Square with its numerous shops, cafes and pubs, ‘The Shop on the Bridge’ is an ideal bolthole for a mini break away from it all.

The cottage overlooks the village green and consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, kitchen/dining room, and WC on ground floor. The first floor accommodates a beautifully decorated double bedroom and spacious bathroom.
