Set in the beautiful countryside of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, this is an ideal base for active or relaxing breaks. Walks and cycling trails start at the door. Lochs Achray and Venachar are within walking distance, spectacular Loch Katrine is just 10 minutes away by car while historic Stirling is within easy reach. Upstairs are two bright, ensuite bedrooms (one standard UK double, one king or twin). Downstairs is an open-plan living space, well-equipped kitchen and wet room.

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). Ben View Cottage: Peaceful Trossachs Retreat

Ben View cottage in the Trossachs National Park is a cosy and comfortable base from which to explore the area. Located in the peaceful hamlet of Brig O’Turk, it is nestled between two lochs and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It has a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area and a separate bathroom. The cottage has good WiFi. Dogs are very welcome. The area is especially wonderful for walkers, wild swimmers and cyclists. Next to the cottage is a small garden with views of Ben Venue.
