Your host is a Scottish marine campaigner who helped set up the Arran Marine Protected Area and has good tips for visitors.

With only 100 yards to the beach it really is in the perfect location.

This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.
