Welcome to our sweet home nestled amongst the quiet leafy streets of Blackburn. A cosy, inviting space where you can unwind with a warm cuppa or glass of something special. Enjoy its character and spend your days relaxing by the fire or overlooking the garden, or use as a base to explore all that Melbourne has to offer with the local train station connecting you to everything. And when you finish your day of adventures, Maple Cottage is the perfect place we are sure you will love coming home to.

The house is furnished for your comfort, including well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating for 10 guests, BBQ, & Wifi. 4 bedrooms sleep 8guests, +sofabed in the loungeroom for 2 extra. There's a cot set up, & a PortaCot is available on request. The area is quiet & peaceful, with lots of local options from nature to adrenaline. You'll be treated to a warm and comfortable 3 bedroom house nestled in the rainforest, with views of Belgrave Lake Park, trees and ferns, possums, birds and the most wonderful forest sights and sounds. Feed rainbow lorikeets on the verandah, sit by the fire, relax in the bath, scramble down to the park and Monbulk Creek walks, or stroll to Puffing Billy or Belgrave's bands, bars and night life. If you are booking for only 2 people you are booking ONE room and the other bedroom will be locked. Looking for a break away from reality. The apartment is walking distance to wonderful cafes, shops & across the road from the most beautiful beach on the Peninsula. Great walks up into Sweetwater Creek or along the boardwalk. The space is fully self contained with a great kitchen if you’d prefer to eat in. The gateway to the Mornington Peninsula to explore the extensive wineries in the region.

Only a 1-2 minute walk to Cafe’s , restaurants and shops. Public Transport is very close with the tram about a 2 minute walk or the train an 8 minute walk. By train you will be in the city centre in 16 minutes. Two $12 Myki(public transport cards) are also provided for your use.
