We are just across the Copper River from the Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. The Copper River is within walking distance. Both the Gulkana and the Klutina Rivers are about 15 miles away. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. Gulkana River Cabin - Located Close To River

Nicely furnished rustic cabin nestled among large spruce trees. Located approximately 3/4 mile from the Gulkana River (12 miles north of Glennallen). Cabin is also located just 8 miles from Gakona/Copper River. Beautiful views of the magnificent Wrangell Mountains abound in the area. Guests arriving before May 1 must bring water, lighting, some firewood and access may be difficult due to snow and a sled may be required for part of the 1/3 mile distance from the highway.
